Donald Trump’s misogynistic personal attacks on women demonstrate his lack of honor, and morality. All Americans, on both sides of the fence should implore him to halt this sort of misbehavior and focus, instead, on his job. There is so much room for Democrats and Republicans to work together. We do NOT hate each other (except for the minority of people on the fringes of the Right and Left). The majority of us do NOT want to see extremism grow in this country. We do NOT want to see our great nation split into warring factions a la Hunger Games.
Mr. President PUT DOWN THAT CROWN!
The “moneyed elite” are demanding what they paid for. I will NOT take blood money 4 my campaign! We, the people, must rise!
Proof we can all get along?!? :/ “If Leader McConnell says failure is not an option, don’t set yourself up for failure would be my advice for the leader” – Ron Johnson on the AHCA. (Is this cherry-picking?)
The reason women need to run for office AND BE ELECTED is simple, we are NOT slaves, and should not be treated as such! We need to end the pervasive misogyny in this country, and we must commit to this process NOW!

23 million people is not a “small percentage” if you’re in that 23 mill! Rubio’s words are a punch in the gut of most New Mexicans, because we’re one of the states that will be hit hardest. When I’m your representative in DC I will work hard for affordable health coverage.

The Supreme Court is going to hear the case of a bakery which refused to make a wedding cake for a same-sex couple. This case hearkens back to Civil Rights battles of the twentieth century when businesses defended their prejudices by claiming that black patrons could simply obtain the same services elsewhere. As we know, it isn’t that “simple,” and prejudice is prejudice. We must each fight the good fight – for equality and equal treatment for everyone regardless of circumstance, and regardless of personally held beliefs.
Help fight the good fight, contact me via IM so we can plan the next steps.
The Supreme Court is going to hear the Travel Ban case. In the meantime, they are allowing the ban to take effect (with the exception of those travelers who have ongoing and bonafide business relationships within the US). When SCOTUS allows, or disallows, implementation of a law or policy in this manner it usually is indicative of how they will ultimately rule.
So, I’m suffering through Steve Pearce’s autobiography. It’s chock-full of exaggeration, tall tales, truth-stretching, and, as a Historian by training and trade, I would not allow a student to use it as a primary source because of its “unreliability.” Sigh. I’ve got nearly 400 more pages to struggle through.
Deportation injustice is taking place in Albuquerque as I write this! Khadim is an Iraqi man who came to this country as a refugee in the early 1990s and has worked with the US military training soldiers for warfare in the Middle East. He had an ICE check-in set for September, but it was reset for today!
A son, who still lived in Iraq was KIDNAPPED three years ago because of Khadim’s work here. Khadim’s wife and four children here are all US born citizens.
Deporting him to Iraq is tantamount to a death sentence! This madness MUST STOP!
To change this horrific behavior being perpetrated by our government you MUST vote BLUE! You MUST become ACTIVISTS! You MUST stand up for what you believe and help fix this!
