“I expected her to have an awesome 10 days of high adventure activities, to develop life-long friendships and to learn more about what it means to serve the community as a scout. I didn’t expect her to be indoctrinated by our unhinged, and beyond inappropriate President. The President’s visit was only announced on Saturday. It caused many of those activities to be cancelled for the entire day or part of it due to the security issues involved with bringing the him to the camp. The BSA knew this would happen in some form because they even issued a warning beforehand that chants of ‘lock her up’ and ‘build that wall’ would be inappropriate in such a setting. We have to stop pretending that this is normal. We literally cannot trust the President of the United States to give a prepared speech to the Boy Scouts. Let that sink in.”
