Poor Donald is stuck in the White House with nothing to do. He thought the job would be easier. He can’t drive a car, and has to have 24 hour Secret Service protection. Maybe if he was a SMART person he would have realized all that BEFORE he ran for President. If he was a SMART person he’d have so much to do he’d rarely stop to think about those pretty problems. Poor Donald. No wonder he goes golfing every weekend.

Kentucky’s governor has proposed changes to his state’s Medicare benefit. What he calls “enhancements” are really lost benefits – like dental and eye exams – and adding a system of “rewards” similar to one offered by your bank or department store credit card. Think JCPenney.

We have a Republican governor. How long until she jumps on this bandwagon? Read the article, then come back and tell us what you think. Is it a good idea? Or bad? Would you prefer universal healthcare (like California is near to instituting) or a reward based system?

Donald Trump ordered a review of public lands. Our Organ Mountains are on that list! We do NOT want them ELIMINATED or REDUCED IN SIZE! Our land contributes to NM’s economy through tourism, and is used by us as a shared resource. Why would anyone want them erased? The answer is corporate greed. And guess who’s running our country right now?
