Kudos to Nevada for strengthening the ACA in their state by tying Medicaid contracts to the ACA marketplace. Those companies taking part in the marketplace were given bonuses in the bidding process for lucrative Medicaid contracts. SMART!

It boggles my mind why Betsy DeVos was chosen to deliver the address at Bethune-Cookman. The student body got to rank choices via vote at my colleges (as I recall). So, how was she selected for the graduating class of this historically African-American College? Granted, she has the right to speak there, but the embattled secretary got the reception we would expect. Boos and backs.

The real reason Comey was fired? Perhaps that “little” funding increase he asked for last week – for the Russia-Trump investigation? He met with Rosenstein, the author of his demise and second in command under Jeff Sessions (who is also a target of the probe and had to recuse himself), and asked for a sharp funding increase and more agents added to the case. In light of these developments, it seems likely he was fired because he’s found a path to the nest.
