While we were watching the clown act we didn’t notice the other rings. The Trump administration gave us 4 horrible policies – education cuts, CA retirement program blocked, net neutrality challenged, and greenhouse gas measurement delayed. Yet again, real human beings get the short end of the stick.
Melania Trump swats away Donald’s hand. But, watch a few moments BEFORE she flicks away his hand. Benjamin Netanyahu takes his wife’s hand as she moves up beside him. Donald notices. Then, he attempts to grab Melania’s hand. She clearly wants nothing of that. I can’t help but say: You go, girl!
Donald Trump approached two intelligence chiefs to get them to side with him against FBI Chief Comey. They refused. But, his approach and ask is the problem. It is corrupt. It is illegal. It is enough to get him impeached. But, with our current Republican led House this is far from certain. We must turn the House BLUE in 2018.

The Republican billionaires running this country are selling us to the highest bidders. Foreign investments in our infrastructure projects are pouring in. What do they get? Tax credits. Toll and fee collections. We, the people, will pay twice for currently free bridges, roads, train tracks, and airports. Once for the taxes we already pay, and again for the fees the ‘investors’ will charge. They are planning to invest in any and all highly trafficked locations. What about the country bridge or road? They will be ignored, and continue falling into disrepair. I say, good. Those will be fully ours. I will go out of my way to travel the FREE by-ways. I, for one, will avoid toll roads and privately funded ‘infrastructure’ at all costs. I hope you will, too.

Our state, New Mexico, needs to recover from the recession. It’s one of only a handful that has yet to do so. I would like to see the addition of jobs in clean energy and other industry. Have you been bullied? How about your child? Bullying is a growing problem, especially in this era of Trump related, “trickle-down behavior-nomics” (did I just coin a phrase?). Finland has created an interesting, video game related approach to teaching kids how to react when they witness bullying. It’s being evaluated here in the US. Maybe we should hurry that process along.

Today I was at the Rally for education by Indivisible Socorro County. There was a good turn-out lining the street. The Governor managed to bypass us as she slipped into the school, and then out again sometime later. Will she get the message and fund higher education?
