Albuquerque is at the top of the list. Here, in New Mexico, we’re used to being at the bottom of the good lists, and at the top of the bad lists. This list is a great one! It shows that Albuquerqueans care about the land upon which they live. Bravo!
It looks like measles has come to New Mexico. We have a possible case in Sierra County. Anti-vaxxers must be happy, because their children will be “naturally” vaccinated. Of course, that isn’t really “a thing.” It’s taking chances with their children, and with yours.
New York has moved a step closer to being able to have its tax department release Trump’s taxes to congress. These will be limited to three select committees with constitutional oversight. They will also limit the ability of a sitting president to pardon people for crimes that the state has jurisdiction over.
Do you think this is a step forward? Do you believe EVERY person running for president, of ANY party, should be mandated to release their taxes prior to election?
A veterans hospital in New Hampshire has a MIA/POW table they call the Missing Man tribute. The display peridically changes, and the current incarnation includes a bible that belonged to a POW during WWII. A lawsuit has been filed to have the “disrespectful” and “offensive” bible removed. What do you think? Should the bible be allowed to remain as a part of the current display?
