Do you agree with me that Congress, and government in general, is broken and insiders are repeatedly making bad decisions? Does it seem to you that the only ones who are hurt are hard-working New Mexicans? If so, please tune in to the Mad Hildebrandt for Congress Facebook page this Thursday at 10 am for a Facebook Live chat: www.facebook.com/mad4nm2018

I’ve traveled extensively throughout our state while campaigning this past year and have met many incredible New Mexicans. But, if we’re going to change things for our struggling state, we need to stay connected!

This first Facebook Live event will be a simple introduction – I’d like to tell you more about myself, why I’m so passionate about representing CD2 in Congress, and my plan for putting the needs of everyday working families and veterans first.

Starting on Monday, March 12 at 6 pm, tune in for a weekly Q & A with me on “Mondays with Mad.”

See you Thursday, March 8 at 10 am!

If you’re happy with the way things are going, then you should vote the way we’ve been voting, and keep sending the same kinds of people to Washington over, and over, and over again. But, I think it’s time to think outside the box. And, I’m outside the box. I’m not a government employee. I’m not a lawyer. I’m a college history professor. And I’m a Veteran of the Coast Guard.

I’m Mad Hildebrandt, and I’m running for US Congress in CD2.

Today, I am proud to endorse Alfredo Dominguez for Roswell City Council, Ward 1. Mr. Dominguez has spent his life working to protect and advance human rights, including for gender equality. He has often condemned violence against women at work, which he believes is a core issue affecting workers’ rights, safety, health and dignity, and that all forms of violence and harassment against women and all workers are unacceptable.

Mr. Dominguez has served in the New Mexico National Guard for 6 years. He has worked over 26 years for the City of Roswell. He has held the safety and welfare of his community above that of corporate interests, having opposed the dumping of high level radioactive wastes in New Mexico, and opposed the opening of WIPP. He has lobbied to get funds for the uranium miners and for the Trinity Downwinders. He has successfully fought to keep nuclear boreholes out of our state, and stalled efforts to build an experimental sodium cooled breeder reactor in Chaves County. Mr. Dominguez has worked to reduce the numbers of animals euthanized in the City of Roswell, and helps raise funds for veterinary bills for those who cannot afford to pay them. He continues to help the homeless and those who lose their possessions in house fires.

Alfredo Dominguez has continuously shown a high level of caring and civic duty in Roswell, NM. He will be an exemplary addition to the city council.

Today, I am proud to announce my endorsement and support for Mark McDonald for NM State Representative, District 67. I became acquainted with Mark through our shared interest in Emergency Medical Services and rural healthcare and I’m excited to see him speaking up as a vibrant new voice for New Mexico.

Mark has the skills, commitment, and experience needed to be an effective state representative. As a paramedic, Mark knows the importance of hard work and dedication. He knows how quickly a situation can become dire, and works tirelessly to tackle the problems he faces in the field to bring about a positive solution. He has also been a business owner, running a floral shop in his community. He understands the needs of small businesses through personal experience.

New Mexico needs more public servants like Mark McDonald. He’ll roll up his sleeves and bring his thoughtful, committed, and caring voice to the table as he represents all New Mexicans in his Santa Fe community. Learn more at www.mcdonaldfornm67.com.
