She is a cybersecurity expert, teacher, & mother. She’s a native western New Yorker, she is running to bring economic opportunity to her district. She will also bring cybersecurity expertise to Congress, where she will work to ensure the integrity of our elections and the security of our digital borders. Tracy holds a BA from the University of Rochester, an MA and PhD in American History from Binghamton University, and a JD from Cornell Law School. As the Director of Information Technology Policy at Cornell University (2001 to 2014), she facilitated some of higher education’s first-generation information security policies.
