I am in Alamogordo today to support citizens who do not want a nuclear storage facility forced upon them. Our country, and our state, have a history of poisoning our people in the names of ‘economy’ and ‘freedom’. Enough is enough. It’s time to find a different solution.

Otero County needs you! Please join us on Friday, May 12, at about 8:20am outside Otero County Building, Alamogordo, where we will peacefully protest the Otero Mesa (Salt Basin) Deep Borehole Nuclear Storage Test Project Then plan some time to attend, learn about this project, and to voice your opinions inside the County Commission meeting at 9:00am. These County Commission meetings can take awhile.
Consider this: at the WIPP site, the test phase was never even finished, but instead the project garnered BLM land and started to store nuclear. One of the panelists for Terranear’s presentations planned WIPP, Yucca Mountain, and now is planning this project. The word ‘Nuclear’ is within the very name of the project. (What is in a name?)
