Apparently, Nunes is being investigated for leaking classified info while talking about the classified documents he read at the White House. Also, House Intelligence Committee Dems put together a list of Russia witnesses to include the likes of Paul Manafort, who had contact with Russia. The Republicans put together a list of Obama administration folks who had nothing to do with it. Does it seem like we have two different investigations going on here?

House Intelligence Committee chair Devin Nunes is being investigated by the House Ethics Committee because, in talking about classified documents he read at the White House, which turned out not to provide one iota of evidence for Trump’s March 4 claim that Obama had spied on him, Nunes may have leaked classified information.
Chalk this up to yet another deflection from the real issue here – which is the possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian operatives to win the presidential election.
Even without Nunes, Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee are still preparing to focus on Obama’s national-security team, rather than on Vladimir Putin’s.
Democrats and Republicans have finalized their witness lists, and the names still show two separate investigations. The Democrat’s list includes Paul Manafort, Roger Stone, and Carter Page. The Republican’s list is almost entirely people from the Obama Administration.
So even without Nunes, the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation is ethically and politically bankrupt. No sane person trusts it. Which means it’s up to the Senate Intelligence Committee, and the FBI, to do this right.
But how can we trust them?
