Meanwhile, in the land of SCIENCE! #NASA is going to discuss the search for Ocean Worlds. Exciting! I fully support the reality, and the value, of science! I will support continued funding for scientific research when I am in Washington!

“The broader search for life beyond Earth” is the NASA announcement regarding an upcoming news briefing.
Will NASA be announcing the discovery of little green men on Mars?
Probably not, but maybe alien dolphins will be on the agenda. What we do know is NASA will be presenting new discoveries about ocean planets in our solar system. The discoveries come from the Hubble Space Telescope and the Cassini space probe sent to Saturn.
The official announcement states, “These new discoveries will help inform future ocean world exploration — including NASA’s upcoming Europa Clipper mission planned for launch in the 2020s.” The Europa mission is slated to deliver a lander to Jupiter’s moon Europa which is believed to have subsurface oceans and could possibly harbor microbial life.
We have to ask the question, where there is microbial life, can’t there be larger life forms as well? We will have to wait for the Europa Clipper mission or later to find out.
The NASA news conference will take place at 2 p.m. EDT on Thursday, April 13. You can watch live on NASA Television and the NASA website.
