The Republican’s healthcare replacement is a fiasco for New Mexicans. Statistics show that if you are in the top 1% you will get back a huge refund. But, if you’re a regular person your insurance premium is going to rise in a huge way – an average of $2,521! But get this: if someone in your family is 55-64 years old your premium will increase by $10,591! THEN, if you make less than $60,756 a year and have a family of 4 you’re going to get an increase of $9,024! Can YOU afford that?
In our district, NM D2, 51,000 people are expected to lose their coverage.
