I’m thankful, on this Thanksgiving evening, that I can freely surf the net and find articles in newspapers in distant cities. This one, written by Jessica Rosenworcel and printed in the Los Angeles Times is particularly meaningful. You see, Ms Rosenworcel is a member of the FCC. And she does not want to kill net neutrality. The story is an interesting look from an insider. It’s worth a few minutes of your time.
Today we are gathered with extended family to give thanks for the many blessings we have been given. It’s a day to reflect on the good things, and not dwell on the bad. So, today I am thankful for the beautiful family I have been proud to call mine. I have been blessed with two beautiful children, Gabrielle and Dominic, who have grown into wonderful adults. I am blessed with two lovely granddaughters, Caecilia and Ada, who bring joy to my heart, and Nick, a son-in-law to be proud of. My parents, sister and brothers and their spouses and children, and my cousins, and in-laws, are all wonderful additions to my life. And my husband, Richard, is my rock. A greater blessing than these I could not ask for.
I am also blessed to be part of the larger family of Socorro, and of New Mexico. I thank all of you for allowing me to be part of your lives, as you are part of mine.
On this day of Thanksgiving, I give thanks.

I am pleased to announce that John Vasquez, Chair of the Veteran’s Caucus of the Democratic Party of NM has endorsed me.
I spent today in Las Cruces at the Veteran’s Day Parade & marched with VFW Post 3242. Then, spent the rest of the day with fellow Vets. These are the people who must not be forgotten. They fought for our country, they promised to give their lives, if necessary, so that others could be free. Our nation’s promise to them must not be broken. I salute all my fellow Veterans. Thank you…
